Incident Tracking Release Notes
Significant changes were made to Incident Tracking in EE8 Build 100:
After upgrading to Build 100
you will be asked for a user id and password each time you run Incident
Tracking. On first use, enter an id of admin, and leave the
password blank. Then choose File / Administer Users from the menu
to assign users and passwords. If you don't want to set up a user list,
simply instruct all users to enter an id of admin and leave the password
blank.
Other changes are summarized here, and described in more detail in
the program's online help.
User ID/Password Login. You must log in to use the program.
Each user is designated as a Administrator, Investigator, Operator, or
Guest. Guests can only view data; they cannot enter incident reports or
make any other changes. Operators may enter incident reports, but access
to certain fields may be restricted (depending on how the form is
defined). Investigators may edit any field on the input form.
Administrators have full privileges, including ability to define the
input form and assign rights to other users.
Control what incidents go in the Big Picture. Prior to EE8
Build 100, only items classified as Pre-analytic, Analytic, or
Post-Analytic were counted in The Big Picture. If you added a new parent
test phase, incidents in that phase were not counted. A new preferences
option allows you to count all incidents.
New output options: PDF and image clip.
