If asked whether you want to "Open" or "Save", choose Save

Your web browser will ask where you want to save the file. REMEMBER THIS FILE NAME! When the download is finished, use Windows file manager to find the file and double click to install the software on your computer.

When downloading a large file over a dialup line, make sure your browser time out is set high enough so you won't be disconnected in the middle of the download. With Internet Explorer, you can disable automatic disconnect using Tools / Internet Options / Connections / Settings / Properties / Configure / Connection. You can do the same thing on most browsers, but the commands sequence may differ.

Your ISP or corporate IT department may impose restrictions on the size of files you may download.
