-
Fixed an error when Custom Linking of MC experiments (EEC379)
9.4.0.457 (11 Apr 2011)
The
General Changes in EE:
- One may now perform a Selective Recalc for any Statistical Module,
allowing recalculations for
selected instruments or analytes. (EEC017)
- The Inventory screen accessed from File,Project Inventory and from the
File Manager cut off the
Status column. This has been fixed. (EEC214)
- Help was written for the Audit Viewer, AuditVue (EEC229)
- The software now warns the user if the end of the licensing period
is within 60 days, within 30
days, and every time the software is run within 15 days (EEC255)
- An error could appear when previewing report data, then deleting the
experiment, and then
attempting to paste it back into the module overview screen. This has
been fixed. (EEC256)
- LOB data has been added to PasteWithPoliciesList.XLS in the
Resources folder. (EEC262)
- HIS data has been added to PasteExptDetail.XLS in the Resources
folder. (EEC269)
- Downloading a new version now checks available disk space prior to
starting the download. An
informative message will be displayed if enough space does not exist.
(EEC288)
- A spelling error appeared on the window that shows when files are
restructured for upgrade.
This has been fixed. (EEC289)
- The "New Software Available" hint on the upper right part of the
main EE screen may now be
disabled by adding the file "NoNewRelMessage" in the main EE folder.
(EEC300)
- Data Exported from EE and then modified in Excel can now be Imported
back into EE. (EEC318)
AMC
- Percent Bias is now calculated and displayed on the AMC report output,
and on the Stats tab
of the experiment detail screen. (EEC320)
AON
- The AON Data Manager will now accept dates that are in yyyy-mm-dd
format. (EEC186)
CO
- If an experiment with insufficient data was imported into the
Carryover module, a vague warning
would appear in the activity log. This has been clarified to include the
words "insufficient
data". (EEC267)
ERI/ROC
- ERI/ROC produced an error when the Experiment, New or F3 Add options
were used. This has been fixed. (EEC290)
- There was a spelling error on the ROC Comparison, Detail screen.
This has been fixed. (EEC294)
- The ERI/ROC data definition box that appears when you choose to add
a new experiment using F3 Add or Experiment, New functions, showed
cut-off text. This has been fixed. (EEC312)
- There was a spelling error on the Datasheet Description box in
ERI/ROC (accessed from F2
Rename). This has been fixed. (EEC313)
- ERI/ROC can now acquire data from IM; ERI/ROC does not require the
presence of Policies in
order to acquire data from IM. Also see IM_ODBC in this document for new
ERI/ROC data
acquisition features.
HIST
- The user can now enter a cutoff percentile in the Parameters screen,
and the cutoff result
value is computed and displayed on the screen and in the report.
(EEC216)
INR
- GEO
- The ISI field on the parameters for INR-GEO experiments had a
descriptor added that states what
the allowed values are for the field. (EEC266)
IM_ODBC
- Rapid Results Entry, Connect to Instrument Manager how can access data
in the IM Archive
database. This is available on the main IM ODBC Connection screen from
the Connection menu.
(EEC202)
- Patient demographic data can now be accessed when acquiring data for
ERI/ROC experiments. The specific IM fields are defined in a new file in
the EE9 folder, called "ODBC_IM_ERI_Fields.txt". The most useful IM
fields are sex/gender and date of birth (from
which age is computed). (EEC307)
- Data acquired from IM is now saved in the
\EE9\DATA\STUDIES\project\RRE folder (where "project" is the name of
your project/study) in a file named "ss-IM_ODBC-nnn.TXT" (where "ss" is
an abbreviation for the Statistical Module, and "nnn" is an incrementing
number). (EEC151)
Simple
Accuracy
- When pasting data into the overview screen, only 7 of 11 levels were
accepted by EE. This has
been fixed. (EEC295)
Incident
Tracking
- The Enter/Edit button in Incident Tracking was split into two buttons
: Enter Incidents (for
adding new incidents to the database) and Edit Incidents (for modifying
existing incidents).
(EEC134)
- A new Copy Database option was added to the File menu of Incident
Tracking. Only the Setup
options will carry over to the new database (with the option to copy
user logins); existing
incidents will not be copied. (EEC135)
- Incident Tracking uses the institution information entered into EP
Evaluator (when the unlock
code is provided) on report headers and screens. (EEC137)
- In one case, the incident displayed when the Details button was
clicked from the Browse window
was not the one selected in the grid. This has been fixed. (EEC138)
- Close Incident and Re-Open Incident buttons were added to the
incident tracking form. The
'Re-Open Incident Reports' permission was added to security, and the
Administrators and
Investigators security groups initially have this permission. Closed
incidents are unable to be
edited and will need to be re-opened by a user with the appropriate
permissions. (EEC141)
- Users can now print a data entry form, as well as a list of fields
and valid field values, from
the Setup screen; this data can also be placed in the clipboard to allow
creation of custom
forms using Excel. Cosmetic problems with the printed report have also
been fixed.
(EEC140, EEC201)
- A Print Preview button was added to both the Enter and Edit
Incidents screens. (EEC194)
- Fields that are flagged as Investigator-Only in Setup are now
neither displayed nor editable in
the Incident Editor, in Browse, and in Breakdown. (EEC199)
- If Incident Tracking Setup fields were set to Show Investigator Only
= Yes and the logged in
user did not have the permission 'Edit Investigator Fields' in security,
the values would show
with asterisks in the Browse grid; they now show as blank fields.
(EEC328)
Inventory
(SIS)
- The 'Has Lots' column is now a sortable column in the grid on the
Items screen. (EEC3)
- The Transaction Viewer now shows the name of the user logged in
while making the change, and to which lot number (if applicable).
(EEC83)
-
Institution information entered into EP Evaluator (when the unlock code
is provided) is now
used on report headers and screens. (EEC137)
-
It is now possible to produce a QOH report using a subset of selected
items on the QOH screen.
Additionally, the option to print a QOH report is now available on the
Items screen (however,
it will show all records on this screen and not only-selected). (EEC154)
-
The text on the 'Stop Asking' checkbox when the user accesses the
'Select Database' window in
Inventory (SIS) was changed to 'Always use above database'. (EEC157)
- The copyright date was adjusted to 2011. (EEC158)
- Count Sheets are now correctly being created from the QOH screen.
Also, the ability to create
shopping lists and count sheets from the Items screen has been disabled.
(EEC159)
- The Shopping List Report was modified to include Lot Number and
Expiration Date columns.
Additionally, non-expired lot numbers will now be shown on a separate
line on the report and a
line with a blank lot number will be created for items with lots so
users can easily write in
a new lot number. (EEC160)
- When a new lot number for a reagent is received while adding to
inventory via a shopping list,
adding the new lot number required the user to go back to the Items
screen and input it there
first. This has been improved by making a right-click 'Add New Lot'
option available on
Shopping Lists so the new lot can be added from there. (EEC161)
- A Print Preview option has been added to the Print Barcode Labels
window. (EEC162)
- A Set Sequence Order utility has been added onto the Items screen to
allow for arranging items
in groups, changing the group name for all items assigned to it, and
moving items from one
group to another. This feature is also tied to the security permission
of "modify inventory
items" which is only assigned to Administrators by default. (EEC163)
- When the option to print a manual count sheet is used, a new window
will appear which allows
the user to choose from a few different sort options. The option used
will be remembered until
the selection is changed. (EEC164)
- The Item Name field on the Items screen was increased to accommodate
30 characters. (EEC165)
- Inventory (SIS) has been changed from DBISAM 3 to DBISAM 4. (EEC166)
- An error would occur when Inventory (SIS) was closed. This has been
fixed. (EEC170)
- An error would occur in a foreign country using a comma for a
decimal separator in the
calculator of the count sheet. This has been fixed. (EEC181)
- If an Item with Lots defined needs to be ordered, the Shopping List
now contains an entry for
every Lot that has not yet expired. Additionally, all of the Items in
the Shopping list can
have barcodes printed, with multiple barcodes printing for items with
more than one non-expired
lot. (EEC206)
- Inventory (SIS) reports will now all show 'Simple Inventory System'
in the header instead of
'EP Evaluator'. (EEC207)
- Documentation was added to the Help file for Inventory (SIS) on
Reference, Processing Bar Codes
from the Clipboard. (EEC291)
- The font size on the header for the Items screen versus the QOH
screen was different. This has
been fixed. (EEC302)
- The Items screen grid where lot information is entered would
sometimes appear to hide the first
lot entered until the grid was closed and reopened. This has been fixed.
(EEC304)
- Documentation for the Inventory Adjustments Report was added to the
Inventory (SIS) Help file.
(EEC309)
- In some cases, expired lot numbers (which should never have barcodes
printed) were producing
barcode printouts. This has been fixed. (EEC311)
- On the QOH screen, the Create Shopping List and Create Count Sheet
options were separated on
all menus. Additionally, when a new item or lot is defined on the Items
screen, a default
Physical Inventory transaction of 0 and a date of 01 Jan 2000 is created
automatically. The
right-click 'Set Physical Inventory to Zero' option on the QOH screen
will no longer appear
when right-clicking on a Lot (as all lots will have their Physical
Inventory set to zero
regardless). (EEC314)
- A 'Database Check' option has been added to the Utilities menu to
display potential setup
problems on the Items screen that may result in some items missing on
reports. Additionally, an
error count will be displayed at the bottom of the Items screen,
indicating that the DB Checker
should be reviewed for errors. (EEC315)
- Expired lots will now be shown in red on shopping lists and count
sheets. (EEC316)
- If two lots were defined for an item and only one had its Physical
Inventory set from a list,
the second would "disappear" from the lots dropdown on the QOH screen.
This has been fixed.
(EEC325)
